The 2025 racing season is on the way with Opening Night set for Saturday May 3, 2025. The practice day scheduled for Sunday April 27th has been cancelled due to incoming weather. Arrangements will be made for opening day on Saturday May 3rd to ensure enough time for safety inspections.
Reserved pit stalls are available again for renewal and purchase for $100. Reserved pit stalls will not be honored during the John Burr Classic weekend as the pits will be organized by division/series to make for easier flow. Pit stalls can be paid for via check or cash and may be dropped off at the office, collected at the banquet on April 5th, or during open practice. To reserve your pit stall contact Brady Gill at (315) 778-6819. Pit Stall renters from the 2024 season have the first right of refusal for their spot. If you would like the same spot please indicate so to B. Gill before April 6th. Pit stalls not spoken for by then will be released as an open stall for 2025.
For the Modified division, an update to the tire bank rule will be in place for 2025 and reads as follows:
2025 Modified Tire Bank
The Tire Bank System is designed to level the playing field and help make racing more economical through the use of tire credits. The procedure goes as follows.
Week 0 (Open Practice)

- 4 Tire Credits awarded to drivers attending Open Practice
- Tires may be purchased that day and serial numbers will be logged into the Tire Bank
- Drivers must be actively participating in Open Practice to purchase tires
Week 1

- 4 Tire Credits awarded to drivers attending Week 1 that were not present at Open Practice
- Tires may be purchased that day and serial numbers will be logged into the Tire Bank
- 4 additional Tire Credits will be awarded to each driver that takes the green flag in feature competition. This Tire Credits will be available for purchase on Week 2
Week 2

- 4 Tires may be purchased by drivers who took the green flag in the Week 1 feature
- 1 Tire Credit will be awarded to each driver that takes the green flag in feature competition. This Tire Credit will be available for purchase on Week 3
Week 3

- All drivers that participated in Week 1 and Week 2 will have 8 tires logged in the Tire Bank
- The 9th tire that was awarded in the Week 2 feature will be available for purchase
This procedure will repeat itself for all points paying races.
Tire Sales

- Tire Sales will be open from 3pm-5pm on race day. Tires will NOT be available for purchase after 5pm or during the week. No Exceptions.
- Once a tire is added to your Tire Bank it cannot be exchanged
- All Tire sales are to be payed in full with cash or check.
- All Tire sales are final and there are NO REFUNDS
Additional Rules & Information

- New drivers competing in or after Week 4 with no preexisting Tire Bank will be allowed 2 new Tires and 2 track approved scuffs. Available for purchase that day.
- Up to 4 Tires may be purchased for the John Burr Classic 75. Tires will be stamped prior to heat races and drivers will stay on that set of tires for the remainder of the event.
- Practice Tires may be purchased and used in practice or hot laps. These tires are NOT logged in the Tire Bank and are prohibited from heat and feature competition. Use of Practice Tires in heat or feature competition will result in penalties at the Tech Inspectors discretion.
- Intentional tampering of the sidewall or serial numbers is expressly prohibited and will result in penalties at the Tech Inspectors discretion.
