EVANS MILLS, NY – The Evans Mills Raceway Park will be celebrating the next chapter of the Rocket 76er Weekend presented by the Bob Johnson Auto Group and NAPA Auto Parts on Saturday June 27th with the return of the Race of Champions Tour Modifieds featuring asphalt’s top stars including Matt Hirschman! The event will also feature the EMRP debut of the Mighty TQ Midget Takeover presented by FX Caprara Family of Dealerships.
The $5,000 to win modified feature will roll off for the fourth time at EMRP. Hirschman took home the win in back to back years 2024 and 2025. The 76 lap feature honors the United States during it’s 250th birthday. The lineups will be set following a qualifying session and heat races.
The Mighty TQ Midgets will battle in a 25-lap feature for their first time at EMRP. The Mighty TQ Midgets will return to Evans Mills on August 1st as part of their American Racer Cup.
The LaFave Motor Sales Crown Vics will also be added to the card to fill out the night with six total divisions including the ROC Tour Modifieds, Mighty TQ Midgets, Kinney Drugs Modifieds, Christman Fuel Service INEX Legends, LaFave Motor Sales Crown Vics, and Stewart’s Shops Sport Compacts.
The Excess Storage Thunderstocks will have the night off, but are invited to join the Stewart’s Shops Sport Compacts heats and feature races. Thunderstocks joining the division must run in compliance with their weekly Thunderstocks rule book. Thunderstocks are not required to be on American Racer tires. The Sport Compact purse will be used for the race and a bonus payout will be awarded to the top three finishing Thunderstock cars as such: First finishing Thunderstock earns purse pay plus $75, second finishing Thunderstock earns purse pay plus $50, third finishing Thunderstock earns purse pay plus $25. No season points will be awarded to Thunderstocks for the event.
