EVANS MILLS, NY – The Evans Mills Raceway Park returns to circle track action on Saturday August 10th after a week of Monster Trucks. August 10th is Military Appreciation Night where people with valid military IDs will receive FREE admission to the event. Bob Johnson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Watertown stepped up to help bring in an U.S. Army veteran to compete with the Kinney Drugs Modifieds field.
Dale Ogburn, the 2023 Carolina Crate Modified Series Champion will be making the trip up from Troutman, NC to drive a Lee Gill owned modified sponsored by Bob Johnson Auto Group and supported by the U.S. Army. Ogburn a veteran of the U.S. Army served as a weapons specialist in Southeast Asia, Afghanistan, and other countries. Ogburn currently sits second in CCMS points after their most recent race at the famous Hickory Motor Speedway.
Joining the full card of action are the Classic Asphalt Modified Series. Their first trip of the season put on a great show among the top four cars. They look to travel with a larger field of cars for Saturday.
The full card is rounded out with the Excess Storage Pro Late Models, Christman Fuel Service INEX Legends, Stewart’s Shops Sport Compacts, and FENIX U-Pull U-Save Thunderstocks.
