EVANS MILLS, NY – The 2X Monster Trucks Live Tour makes its annual trip to the Evans Mills Raceway Park this week. The weekend is the highlight of the summer for the North Country and will be filled with two jam-packed days of thrills on Saturday August 3rd and Sunday August 4th. Tickets are on pre-sale now and available at the gate on show days. New for this year, legendary Monster Truck driver and creator of Grave Digger, Dennis Anderson will be competing in King Sling, a truck based on a mud truck of the same name. Joining King Sling are all the fan-favorite monster trucks and freestyle motocross riders.
Jimmy Creten, series co-owner with wife Dawn Creten will pilot the destructive Bounty Hunter truck which was named the 2005 Freestyle World Champion and Team of the Year in 2006,2007, and 2008. Dawn Creten returns with Scarlet Bandit a racing and freestyle veteran! Michael Brister will have Hot Tamale ready to do battle and Rob Poutre will have Shark Bite soaring through the air! Dan Dahlgren will be driving the thrilling ride experiences in the Redneck Road Trip and Knucklehead trucks. Up to eight people can ride in the back of a monster truck at the same time.
VIP experiences include a pre-event Pit Party where your group can meet the drivers and riders. They are excited to take photos with you and sign autographs. Ride trucks also begin at 1:00pm and will continue until every person who purchased a ride ticket has received their ride.
Freestyle Motocross riders will be hucking every trick imaginable with backflip variations and more. These riders are coming to Evans Mills from all over the country including AJ Rozboril from Chicago, Drew Slaugh from Grand Junction, CO, and Christian Poutre from Glover, VT.
Parents, make sure to bring your child’s Power Wheels vehicle as each day will feature an intermission power wheels race!
Fans, make sure to secure your passes for the pit party and ride trucks where you and your friends can ride in the back of a monster truck! Gates open at 1:00pm and on-track action starts at 3:00pm both days.
