EVANS MILLS, NY – This Saturday July 1st, the Evans Mills Raceway Park will be celebrating July 4th weekend with an awesome fireworks show at the end of the night. Partners Bob Johnson Auto and NBC Watertown are presenting the new Rocket 76er weekend which features a 76-lap race for the Caskinette Ford Sportsman Modifieds, Spectator Racing at intermission, and a full show of weekly division racing including the Christman Fuel Service INEX Legends, Excess Storage Pro Late Models, Sport Compacts and Thunderstocks.
Bob Johnson Auto has multiple locations across New York state and have focused the efforts of their Watertown and Pulaski locations on supporting this new event. Staff and friends of Bob Johnson Auto and NBC Watertown will be in attendance for the race this weekend. NBC Watertown will also be joined by guests that participate in their new Old Glory Golf Classic held at Carlowden Country Club. EMRP sponsored the new tournament that was designed to benefit the local Wounded Warriors Project and are excited to welcome veterans to the track on Saturday.
Gates will open at 5:00pm and heat racing will start at 6:30pm. Fireworks will begin immediately following the final feature race of the night.
