EVANS MILLS, NY – The Evans Mills Raceway Park is preparing to celebrate the rich history of agriculture in Northern New York with the help of Champlain Valley Equipment located in Watertown, NY. Champlain Valley Equipment, a trusted dealer of Kubota, New Holland, and more has supplied farmers and more in our region for many years. To add even more excitement, CDL Drivers Appreciation Night will be blended into the evening to make up for a rain out earlier in the season. Long-time partners Christman Fuel Service and the Tyler R. Christman Foundation are presenting the CDL Drivers portion of the night.
Drivers with a valid CDL will eligible for a free general admission ticket when they show their CDL at the box office window. The evening will also include raffle prizes from local farm and agricultural partners. The night is dedicated to highlighting local farmers and products grown in our region. Farmers, Trucking companies, and more are welcome to bring their large trucks to join in the CDL touch-a-truck event in the midway. The night will also include the first round of Spectator Drag Racing for the season in a double-elimination format which means you would have to lose twice to be eliminated. Drivers joining Spectator Drag racing must sign-up at the box office before 5:00pm and have valid insurance on their vehicle and a helmet to drive with. The first round will take place before heat racing, and the second (final) round will happen immediately after heat racing.
All five Championship divisions will be in action including the Kinney Drugs Modifieds, Christman Fuel Service INEX Legends, LaFave Motor Sales Crown Vics, Stewart’s Shops Sport Compacts, and Excess Storage Thunderstocks.
