Evans Mills (NY) – Do you love modified racing as much as the Evans Mills Raceway Park does? Show support on July 5th for the 3rd annual Rocket 76er (previously the Summer Sizzler 80) presented by Bob Johnson Auto Group and NAPA Auto Parts, where EMRP is hosting the Race of Champions Asphalt Tour Modified Series.
This will be the second season of the ROC coming to the EMRP in 20+ years. The ROC race will be 76 Laps, and Kinney Drugs Modifieds will be 35 laps as usual. In the previous two years, Joe Papin from Redwood, NY, won both installments of the Rocket 76er. Matt Hirschman is the previous ROC winner from last season. Andy Jankowiak, Carson Loftin, Zane Zeiner and Jack Ely are some of the names of the ROC racers who have also been in attendance in the past. The night will begin at 6 p.m. with Heat Racing of Kinney Drugs Modifieds, Stewart Shops Sport Compacts, Christman Fuel Service INEX Legends, and NAPA Auto Parts Thunderstocks. Shortly after, we will begin Feature Racing of all the same EMRP divisions as previously mentioned and the Race of Champions Series.
